First, the honest Florida answer: pools here should never be winterized the northern way. Our freezes last hours, not months, and Central Florida water grows algae in January just fine — so the smartest plan is keeping your pool open and serviced year-round. But if your pool is going to sit — you're heading north for the season, the vacation home is going quiet, or a rental has a gap — a proper closing prep and a professional opening are what stand between you and a very green surprise.
Our closing visit puts the pool to bed the Florida way: deep-cleaned, balanced, dosed, and equipment set to ride out the quiet months without you. Our opening visit does the reverse — and if the pool got away while you were gone, it rolls straight into our green-to-blue recovery, photo-documented from swamp to swimmable.
Tell us where the pool is and when you're leaving (or coming back) — we'll take it from there. Family owned, no sales pressure.
What's Included
Every step below is documented with photos in your app — whichever direction you're headed.
Openings and closings are quoted flat per visit based on pool size and condition — a pool that was closed properly opens for far less than one that went green. Ask about current offers on green-to-blue recovery when you get your quote. See current offers.
Never fully drain a Florida pool — groundwater pressure can lift an empty shell right out of the ground. Our freezes last hours, not months: on the rare hard-freeze night, the fix is simply running the pump. When we say “closing,” we mean prepping the water and equipment to sit unattended — done properly, so your opening is a rinse, not a rescue.
How It Works
We deep-clean the pool, balance and dose the water, service the filter, and set your equipment run times for the quiet season — then send you photos of exactly how it was left.
The cheapest opening is the one you never need: light monitoring visits keep chemistry in range while you're gone, with photos in your app from wherever you are.
Cover off and cleaned, equipment inspected and started up, water tested and rebalanced to swim-ready. If it went green, we quote the recovery on the spot and get to work.
