Accessibility Statement
The Pool Fam wants every visitor to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology. We build and maintain the site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our target standard.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks and heading order
- Full keyboard navigability, including menus, accordions, and forms, with visible focus states
- A “skip to main content” link on every page
- Color contrast meeting AA ratios across the palette
- Labeled form inputs with clear, programmatically-associated error messages
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and
aria-hiddenon decorative ones - Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled for users who prefer reduced motion
- Responsive layouts that support zoom up to 400% without loss of content
Known limitations
Embedded third-party content (such as Google Maps) may not fully meet our standard; we provide the same information in accessible text form wherever it matters.
